About my family
I am the mom of 2 gorgeous ladies Rocío and Morena, who are 30 and 27 years old!
I live in a 100-year-old house with my mother and three pets! Two Golden Retriever (Frida and Reina) and a cat named Anita.
I’m an architect graduated from the University of Buenos Aires and I have a passion for any form of design.
In my spare time, I enjoy photography and traveling.
Where do you live?
I was born and grew up in Quilmes, a town located 10 miles south of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
And this is the city where I currently live after experimenting with the expat life for 10 years.
How did you choose your designer name?
This is an easy one!
Since I was a little girl family and friends called me Lu, so that’s me “Scrapping Lu”!
When (and why) did you start designing?
Living the expat life gave me and my girls lots of magical memories that we’ll cherish always.
This is the main reason why I started scrapbooking… It allowed me to dig deep for those memories, people who touch our lives, places we have been.
So I started traditional scrapbooking back in 1996 while living in the US until I discovered digital scrapbooking in 2004 and I got hooked.
I started designing in 2012.
What inspires you?
Many things! Seasons, holidays, colors, memories…
